evo 10 tires

A guy i work with has a 10 and is looking for summer tires..... he has winter ones so pretty much nicve summer tires that won't wear out super fast and do good in the rain but stick pretty good. he is not a super agressive driver but just looking for a nice tire.

These are on my STi, I can go around the clover ramp of 151/I90/94 @ 50mph in the rain before its starts to slide.

They don't wear out to bad and they are pretty cheap and I demolish tires so thats why I picked them

I just like to know what my car will do at what speeds. For instance it will do 70 in the rain coming off of the second curve on the Scurve from I90/95 going to SP.

Also not sure how fast it will go around the Scurve from the belt line to I90/94 on dry pavement but I have had it up to about 93 (don't think I'm going to get it much faster than that it was quite scary heh)

No no it was ken block he just told me and it was on a closed course at the time. DERP?

Direzzas are really nice, only thing is IIRC they run a litle wide for any given size. something to look out for. I had Bridgestone Potenza RE760 Super Sports on my STI and they were awesome when dry and still had probably over half thread with a little over 15k on them when I got rid of the car. only thing I didn't like was that they would hydroplane fairly often.

I have those direzzas on the rear of my 240sx. No complaints. I would buy them again.

I'm currently on my second set of Falken 615's. The stock evo X tires are terrible. Lasted 7500 miles. I should take a picture of the sticker that comes on the door panel when you buy the car new. Something to the sorts of these tyres blow get new ones right away.

I'l also add that I had BFG KDW2 on my cobalt ss that were by far the best handling tires I have boughten. Pricey but had no side wall roll and grip in the wetness.

Eww. I had a pair and they went out so quickly.

They were good for the first part of their life but once tread got lower, they sucked.

This changed gears a bit....

Gonna try and rock out with these this year

Potenza RE-11's. Lots of grip when dry, more grip than most max performance tires when wet, they have lasted longer than any other tire I have used, don't heat cycle and suck in the rain like the 615's (haven't tired the new "k" version though), predictable, blah, blah, blah... You get the idea, an excellent max performance summer tire.

RE11's are really nice but for an 18 they're stupid expensive

Very true. They definitely are not for the cheapskate.

I have Goodyear F1 Asymmetrics on my car, love em. Getting rid of my car so I won't be able to give you any figures on how long they last but I haven't had a single complaint about them.
