| Everything is installed. I ended up having to buy a new set of Valve covers to clear the valvetrain, so i now have a set of Canton Fabbed covers. The car now has a ported intake, and a larger throttle body. The intake is a 1994 intake, whick puts the fuel line connections back where they are supposed to be at the back of the fuel rail. Just to pretty it up a bit, I painted the intake bosy color and polished the fuel rails.
For right now, there has only been an A/F adjustment done. LMT didn't have the proper cable for tuning my car, as it was with their tuner. Since they were unable to get ahold of him, they just adjusted the air/fuel (it was rich as hell) and are calling it okay for now. In a week or two, I'll go back down for a complete Dyno tune. So... I have to go relatively easy on it.
At least I'll make Automotion!
I'll post pictures tonite.

| Trans is definitely hurt, I couldnt get anything better than a 13.4 at 105 yesterday at GLD. One run the car failed to shift at WOT, the other two it felt like the trans was slipping badly in the higher rpms. It seems like when the trans gets hot, it slips like crazy. So the replacement will likely be a performabuilt 4L60E... either the pro race or the "Invinceable". I'm done fucking with rebuilding this one. | |

| I also forgot to mention, last weekend I put brand new KYB shocks, Moog variable rate coil springs and sway bar links on the rear end. Its amazing how different the car rides. Someone had put Monroe Sensatrack shocks in the rear..... SMH. Those things are shit brand new.... LOL | |

| Verdict on theTrans.
The valve body was pretty humped. There wasnt a free valve in the thing. The over-run piston was cracked, causing the 3/4 band and clutches to smoke themselves. The pump was not aligned properly when installed, causing a crack in it when it was POUNDED INTO PLACE (ive seen the hammer marks) and the case had 4 bolts that had been stripped oit, and one that was broken off. The broken off bolt someone tried to drill out, and fucked up the case in the process. SO, if it can be welded/fixed it eill be, or ill need a new case.
Its being fully rollerized, billet input shaft, updated planetary and sun shell, wide band, tight clutch packs, corvette servos, a billet steel forward piston, all new valves/springs, a new seperator plate, and a new intrrnal harness.
Tbe Converter is going to need a new lockuo, bare minimum. According to the builder, there was no way that this trans wasnt slipping like mad, so im looking forward to having this all redone and driving i!

| Im glad your putting this car back together right. Its too bad you've had to do all the extra work to it, But im sure its been a great learning experience, and it sounds like its going to be a hell of a ride pretty soon, | |

| Its been a lot of damn money, and a lot of damn time. I could have bought something really nice by now lol
Oh well, I'm nothing if not tenacious. It will be up and running likely within a week, and running well shortly afterwards. I'll post up some pictures when I get a chance.
Also on schedule to be delivered tomorrow, SLP "2OTL" Exhaust and an UNCRACKED center console arm rest.

| I got this picture today......: I'm picking it up tomorrow. Everything is fixed, and it is actually a "BUILT" transmission this time. Wide band, Corvette servo, Beast Sun Shell, Fully rollerized, Billet piston... Also found out Friday that the clutch lining in the torque converter was pretty screwed up, and most burned off. PTC will have my converter back to me next week, with all new parts and an adjusted stall speed. | |

| Transmission is back in, and the car is at home thanks to Dan Peck and Genesis Speed Shop! They put my new trans and converter in, as well as fixing my damn exhaust. Top notch work!
Trans shifts awesome, and the new stall is completely unnoticeable until you hammer on it.
I have to get the drag radials mounted yet (Thanks again Tye) and the new exhaust put on. Its a SLP "two on the left"
The car definitely needs a tune. Even though it drove real nice on the way home from the shop last night, you can tell something is still way off in the way it runs. I'll be heading to West bend soon to have that all looked at.

| just for giggles change the oil and filter. I have seen filters cause this type of thing. If that doesn't fix it bring the filter to me we will cut it open and take a look. Have you talked to Dave about it yet? He may want to take a look at the filter...... | |

| Got some numbers from West bend Dyno, going to pick up the car this afternoon.
357.1hp, 415.0Ftlbs torque. Thats a pretty large increase from the Dynojet at LMT. They were also able to address the surging issues at low throttle.
