opinion’s on new wheels and tires

well it’s time to step up the Camaro… first things first is getting a new wheel combo.. I have z06 brakes in the front so I need 17” wheels or a smaller wheel with a mile big spacer (I think the spacer looks really gay). The wheels and tire’s on this car are almost the exact set up im looking at getting (not as wide rear tires). 17x 4.5 fronts 15x9 rear. First off what you guys think of the wheels and secondly does it look gay with the big 17 in fronts? I would get 17”rears also but I’m looking for the most traction I can get. (maxing out blower, e85, 4L80E).

or this in black or polished.. but then i have to sell my z brakes..

in 15's all the way around.

FWIW, I love those wheels. I don't like the way 15s look at all, but I know it's a functional choice more than anything. I'd run the 17s up front if it were me.

If you want the weld rts, there are different options for different size brakes.

i like the set up on the TA pic. however i dont like it enough over what you have to buy them and get new brakes. I would leave it alone

I like 15's all around....... But like cory said probably not enough to buy new brakes.....

Well I vote for a set of Weld RT-S with black centers 17" up front and 15" in the rear and they are SFI as well.

I like the ones on the red catfish. don't know why but I've always liked the bigger front/smaller rear look and I wouldn't want to cut back the braking power of something like your camaro.

17's in the front and 15's in the back (regardless of tire size) just looks goofy, so you should do it so I can laugh at it when I see it. Laughter is great medicine, think of how many people you would be helping!

I agree...after looking at the pics the 17/15s just don't look right.

looks funny to me either go all 17s or leave what got on.You cant fit a big fat 17 under it/like a 315 or something. my lil gbody magic cock pony has a 295 15 on it. And my old g had 275 40 17s under rear in a micky drag radial.
